COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – After a scoreless 80 minutes of regulation play, the Coldwater High School boys varsity soccer team fell to Vicksburg 2-0 in double overtime in MHSAA district action Friday night.
The loss ends the Cardinals season at 8-8-3.
Vicksburg scored the first goal of the game with 3:56 to play in the first 10 minute overtime period. They scored again with 5:36 to play in the second overtime period to seal the victory.
Freshman Franky Ramos made 10 saves in goal as Vicksburg outshot Coldwater 17-10.
Vicksburg moves on to play Division Two second ranked and host St. Joseph Tuesday in the district semifinals. The other semifinal features Edwardsburg versus Sturgis.
