PORTAGE, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Varsity Girls Swim and Dive team traveled to Portage Northern to finish their SMAC dual meet schedule Tuesday night and came away with a 87-82 victory over the Huskies.
The Cardinal girls took the lead in the third event with a first place finish by Ayla McCowan in the 200 IM.
Charlotte Calhoun stays undefeated on the season with another win in diving.
Carly Krzyzanski came home with a win in the 500 Freestyle before they Lady Cards found themselves in familiar territory being down one point going into the last event.
The relay team of Klara-Sofie Bollmann, Olivia Boland, Sienna Losinski, and Randi Dudek finished first to give Coldwater the win.
The Lady Cards finish their SMAC dual meet schedule in sixth place out of 10 teams which is the highest any Coldwater swim team has finished in school history.
Coldwater swims again this Saturday when they host the first ever I-8 invitational at the Browne Aquatic Center.
