NEW YORK, NY (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Pistons open up their first road trip of the season tonight in New York against the Knicks.
Detroit will also visit Indiana tomorrow and Washington on Tuesday before returning home.
The Pistons opened the season with a four-point win over Orlando on Wednesday.
In other team news, assistant GM Rob Murphy is being investigated for misconduct with a female employee. ESPN reports he has been on leave for a week after management was made away of the allegation and started the probe.
Murphy was promoted to assistant GM in June after serving as the Pistons G League President and General Manager. He spent 10 years as the head basketball coach at Eastern Michigan University.
