LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Cash is still piling up in the Powerball jackpot which has increased to $700 million for the Wednesday, October 25 drawing. The cash option for the jackpot is $336 million.
If a lucky player wins the $700 million jackpot, it will be the largest Powerball jackpot won this year and the fifth largest Powerball jackpot ever won.
Wednesday’s drawing will be the 36th Powerball drawing since the jackpot was last won August 3.
Players have plenty of time to purchase tickets for the drawing. Lottery retailers are selling Powerball tickets until 9:45 p.m. Wednesday.
