DETROIT, MI (WKZO-AM/FM) – The Minnesota Vikings can clinch the NFC North with a win against the Lions in Detroit on Sunday. The Vikings are 10-and-2 after beating the New York Jets 27-22 in Week 13. Nine of Minnesota’s victories have been decided by one possession, and quarterback Kirk Cousins had led six fourth quarter comebacks this season. Justin Jefferson leads the offense with 88 catches for 1,277 yards and seven total touchdowns.
Meanwhile, the 5-and-7 Lions are on a hot streak. Last week’s 40-14 rout of Jacksonville gave Detroit its fourth win in five games, and the Lions are suddenly just two games back of a Wild Card spot.
The Vikings used a last-minute touchdown to beat the Lions 28-24 in week three, and Minnesota has won nine of its last ten games against Detroit overall.
