BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater used a 17-5 third quarter to help turn a 12-9 halftime deficit to an eventual 39-30 win at Marshall.
Elli Foley led all scorers with 12 points and 6 rebounds, while Mya Porter added 10 points and 5 boards as the Cardinals remain undefeated on the season at 5-0 overall, 2-0 in the Interstate 8. They host Portage Northern on Tuesday.
Addison Waito led the Redhawks with 10 points; they dropped to 2-3 overall, 1-1 in the I-8.

Quincy held off Union City 34-31 at the McNett Fieldhouse. Raigan Horsfall led the Orioles with 11 points and 8 rebounds, and Alyssa McCavit had a double-double with 10 points and 11 boards. After starting the season 0-4, Quincy has won back-to-back games to improve to 2-4 overall, 2-1 in the Big 8. Union City was led by Jordan Chard’s 9 points and 6 rebounds; the Chargers drop to 1-5 overall, 0-2 in the Big 8, and will host Marshall Academy Monday.
Bronson remains undefeated on the season as they won at Jonesville 50-39. The Vikings improved to 4-0 overall, 2-0 in the Big 8.
