CHARLOTTE, NC (WKZO AM/FM) – Two teams still fighting for a spot in the postseason meet Saturday in Charlotte.
The Panthers are set to host the Detroit Lions in an important NFC showdown at 1:00 p.m.
Detroit is one of the hottest teams in the league after winning six of its last seven to improve to 7-and-7. Carolina has been up-and-down throughout the season but remain in the race for the NFC South title at 5-and-9.

The Panthers are on their third starting quarterback of the season with Sam Darnold set to make his fourth straight start. Carolina has won three of the last four in the head-to-head series, including a 20-0 victory in 2020.
