MADISON, WI (WKZO AM/FM) – In men’s college basketball action, Michigan State University is on the road tonight to face 18th-ranked Wisconsin.
Elsewhere, Western Michigan hosts Eastern Michigan, while CMU is at Northern Illinois. Michigan visits Iowa Thursday, while Detroit Mercy hosts Youngstown State.
There’s a new number one team in the nation according to the latest college basketball coaches poll. After improving the 16-and-1, the Houston Cougars are the top team in the country.
The Cougars are followed by Kansas, previous number one Purdue, Alabama and Tennessee to round out the rest of the top five.
