LONDON (Reuters) – A man has been charged with assaulting Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale after the north London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, London’s Metropolitan Police said on Tuesday.
Joseph Watts, 35, from Hackney in east London, was charged with assault by “beating, going onto an area adjacent to playing area and throwing a missile onto a football playing area”, police said in a statement.
Watts is due to appear at London’s Highbury Magistrates’ Court on Feb. 17.
