NEW YORK (Reuters) – A U.S. government agency on Wednesday issued citations against three Amazon.com Inc facilities for violations that exposed workers to safety hazards, the U.S. attorney in Manhattan said.
Workers at the facilities were exposed to ergonomic hazards that put them at high risk for lower back injuries and other musculoskeletal disorders, U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said in a statement.
The facilities are located in New Windsor, New York, Waukegan, Illinois, and Deltona, Florida, Williams said.
