BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – A 55-year-old Kalamazoo man was killed Wednesday morning when his vehicle rolled over on the Beadle Lake Road entry ramp from eastbound I-94.
Troopers from the Michigan State Police Marshall Post are investigating the crash which took place at around 6:45 a.m..
A preliminary investigation reveals that the driver lost control, rolled down an embankment and overturned.
The fatal victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
The two male passengers were transported to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo for non-life threatening injuries.
Evidence at the scene indicate the driver was wearing his seat belt.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by Emmett Township Public Safety and Life Care Ambulance.
