CENTREVILLE MI (WKZO AM/FM) – St. Joseph County authorities continue to investigate a structure fire Sunday evening that claimed the life of a Three Rivers man.
Deputies were summoned to the 14000 block of Coon Hollow Rd. in Fabius Township at around 8:20 pm on a report of a fire.
A 91 year old man was found in the building and pulled from the fire.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The fire’s cause is unknown at this time.
Sheriff’s deputies were assisted at the scene by Fabius Park Fire Dept., Three Rivers Fire Dept., Michigan State Police, and The American Red Cross.
