EAST LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Officials say five students injured in a shooting on Michigan State University’s campus are still in critical condition, but some are showing signs of improvement.
One man killed three students and injured the other five Monday night before taking his own life. MSU Interim Deputy Chief Chris Rozman said the shooter had two handguns on him along with additional ammunition and they were legally purchased, but not registered.
Chief of MSU Police Marlon Lynch said students at the site of the shooting helped render aid to those wounded by the gunman and gave them a chance to survive by doing so.
