BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater J.V. boys basketball team improved their record to 10-8 on Thursday night with a 54-35 win over Pennfield.
Julian Thompson led Coldwater with 24 points and 11 rebounds.
Austin Downs had 12 points, five rebounds, two steals and two assists.
Jackson Reilly had five rebounds. Bennett McDonald had a pair of steals.

The Cougars of St. Charles Borromeo defeated Factoryville Christian 32-16 on Thursday night to improve to 9-0 for the season.
Luke Aerts led St. Charles in scoring with 12 points followed by Andrew Richards with 10 points.
The Cougars will be in action next Thursday at 5:30 p.m. against Trinity Lutheran from Sturgis. The game will be played at St. Mary’s in Bronson. This will be the last regular season game for the Cougars.
The Sturgis Christian League Tournament will be played on Saturday February 25.
