(Reuters) – Deere & Co on Friday posted a higher quarterly profit as the easing of supply chain snarls helped the company ship more tractors and crop harvesters to meet strong demand from farmers looking to upgrade their farm equipment.
Net income rose to $1.96 billion for the quarter ended Jan. 30 from $904 million a year earlier.
