BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – A man who entered guilty pleas to larceny and methamphetamine possession charges was ordered to serve time in the Michigan Department of Corrections thanks to a second time habitual offender sentencing enhancer on Monday in Branch County Circuit Court.
31-year-old Terry Krumwiede was initially arrested in November for breaking into a building and for being in possession of a controlled substance.
After posting a $5,000 bond, he was arrested again about a month later for being in possession of drugs which led to his bond being revoked.
Krumwiede was ordered to serve 18 months to 10 years on the meth count with credit for 82 days served. He was given a concurrent sentence of 18 months to six years with credit for 102 days served on the larceny charge.
In exchange for his guilty pleas, prosecutors dismissed a breaking and entering count as well as two possession of a controlled substance charges.
