COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A total of 173 volunteers took part on Wednesday as the Branch County United Way hosted “United We Read Day”
Stories were read in Branch County elementary schools as United We Read was held for the first time since 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Branch County United Way Executive Director Kevin Sheppard says the volunteers came from all walks of life.
Stories were read to youngsters in pre-school through fifth grade classes.
United We Read Day was held as part of March is Reading month.
