BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – A tradition in Bronson will once again take place on Good Friday as the crucifixion of Jesus Christ outside Jerusalem will be re-enacted.
“The Way of the Cross,” a dramatic reenactment of the passion of Christ, will begin at 3:00 p.m.
The walk begins at the Congregational Church and will end at the Bronson Theater where a brief unity service will take place.
Instead of traveling on U.S. 12, the procession will go from the church parking lot up behind and through the alley by the Bronson Fire Department and then across Matteson Street into the city parking lot by the city office and then over to the theater.
The Way of the Cross is being sponsored by the Bronson Covenant of Clergy.
In observance of Good Friday, the Branch County Courthouse will be closed.
Offices for the City of Coldwater and the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities will close on Good Friday at 12 noon.
