JONESVILLE, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Girls Soccer team improved their record to 3-0 with a 7-1 victory on Wednesday night at Jonesville.
The first goal of the night came from Sami Hollenbaugh at the 14 minute mark. Two minutes later Abby Hinds added to the score with a goal assisted by Hollenbaugh.
The score remained 2-0 for the rest of the half.
Jonesville was awarded a penalty kick early in the second half which they capitalized on, closing the gap 2-1.
From that point on it was all Quincy. They controlled possession adding five more goals scored by Kalie Glei, Lexi Hinds, Abigail Harmon, Hollenbaugh and Adriana Welch.
Quincy’s defense allowed only one shot on goal.
Quincy will be back at home Monday night against Lenawee Christian.
