THREE RIVERS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – There will be no classes today at Three Rivers Community Schools as police investigate what police call a non-credible threat was made by a local resident over the weekend.
Superintendent Nikki Nash says they are closing schools today “over an abundance of caution.”
To the north in Newaygo, schools will stay open after a threat was made Friday evening in a phone call to a Newaygo Public Schools staff member.
Superintendent Jeff Wright says Newaygo police were contacted and also involved the Holland Township Police Department and Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office in their investigation and says he is thankful for the partnership with law enforcement.
