BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The City of Bronson has lifted a Boil Water Advisory that was issued Sunday in the Schmid Farms neighborhood when the pressure dropped due to a water main break.
City Manager Brandon Mersman says the City performed lab samples for two consecutive days that are required when a boil advisory is issued.
He reported on Wednesday that both of the tests came back negative for the presence of bacteria.
Mersman said, “The health and safety of our citizens has always been a top priority. We understand this has been an inconvenience and thank those impacted for their patience.”
The boil advisory affected Oak Drive and Walnut Street as well as the 700 blocks of East Grant and East Corey.
