ALBION, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Albion Township Fire Department officials say a home on Condit Road in Albion is almost a complete loss and a man who lives there was sent to a nearby hospital following an overnight fire.
The unnamed man had to be rescued by firefighters. At last report, he was in serious but stable condition.
WWMT-TV reports two other person were already outside and there was a large amount of smoke coming from the two story home when firefighters arrived.
Fire crews say it was difficult to put out the flames because the floors inside the home collapsed. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
