BUCHANAN, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings girls softball team lost a pair of one run games at Buchanan on Monday afternoon.
The Bucs defeated the Vikings 4-3 in the first game. Haylie Wilson had two hits including a double for the Vikings. Roni Bir had two hits and two RBI’s. Paige Roussey also collected two hits.
Buchanan won the nightcap 8-7. Brealyn Lasky had three hits for Bronson including two doubles.
Coach Becky Gray said, “We had 2 tough loses tonight. We out hit them both games we just couldn’t find a way to get runners in when we had them in scoring position. I was very proud of our fight tonight. We never gave in and fought hard both games. These are the games we can grow from.”
Bronson will take a record of 15-10 into Tuesday’s doubleheader against Union City.
