BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – The host Union City Chargers finished first in the Big 8 Conference Boys Golf Jamboree they hosted on Monday night at Turtle Creek Golf Course.
The Chargers edged Quincy by two shots to win the meet. Union City had a team score of 171 followed by Quincy at 173 and Jonesville at 176. Bronson did not have enough golfers for a team score.
Union City’s Landyn Crance was the medalist with a 39 while Logan Mears fired a 42 which put him in a fifth place tie.

Quincy’s Sam Sawyer and Braylon Estlow along with Kenyon Miller of Homer tied for second with 41’s.
Dave Milliman of Quincy, Carson Norton of Bronson and Carter Krummrey of Union City finished in a eighth place tie as they all carded rounds of 44.
