Amanda Sharon Lindsey, 36, of Tekonsha, passed away on May 30, 2023, at her residence in Tekonsha, Michigan surrounded by the love of her family.
Amanda was born on November 4, 1986, in Kalamazoo, a blessing full of love and life to her parents, Steve and Tammie (Lucas) Allen. She was a graduate of Harper Creek High School, Class of 2005. Amanda went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in business and health Management and worked as a supervisor at Michigan State University. On March 26, 2022, she married the love of her life, Daniel Lindsey of Tekonsha.
Amanda enjoyed sunshine and fun…she really enjoyed fun in the sun! She loved dancing, she loved shoes, and Amanda loved travel, it didn’t matter where…anywhere…wherever the next trip was going, she was ready and with two suitcases of course, because it took one whole suitcase just for her shoes! She loved life in general, but more than anything else, Amanda especially love time spent having fun with family and friends!
Amanda is survived by her loving husband, Daniel; parents, Steve and Tammie Allen of Battle Creek, MI; sister, Brooke (Matt) Smith of Mattawan, MI; brother, Ryan (Marah) Allen of Battle Creek, MI; father and mother-in-law, Jim & Pat Lindsey of Tekonsha, MI; two brother-in-laws, Luke Lindsey of Tekonsha, MI, and Matt (Stacie) Lindsey of Tekonsha, MI, nieces and nephews Mason, Aubree, Paisley, Mackenzie, Parker, Carl, and Henry; and also her “Furr-Baby”, Mattie.
Services have been entrusted to Kempf Family Funeral & Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, Michigan 49017, where visitation will be held Sunday, June 4, 2023, from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Visitation will also be held on Monday, June 5, 2023, 10:00 am – 11:00 am with the funeral service beginning at 11 am, at First Baptist Church of Tekonsha, 914 N Main St, Tekonsha, Michigan 49092, with Pastor Brian Perry, officiating. A graveside service will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Tekonsha.
