A memorial visitation for Charles E. Deal Jr., 93, will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
Private family interment will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery at a later date.
Charles E. Deal Jr. was born October 12, 1929. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Charlie worked at Midwest Foundry until it closed. He drove a grain truck and worked at Acme Belt where he retired.
Charlie was known as the scrapman and resales at Stringtown/Fisher.
Charlie married Patricia Bliss in 1955. They had 3 daughters: LuAnn Stout, Quincy; Tracy Sours, Coldwater; Teresa Keyser, Bourbon, IN; 7 grandchildren; and sisters, Jillyne and Donna Rickett; and brother, Bobby Deal.
Charlie married Lila M. Morley October 9, 2017, and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Patricia; and brother, Walter Deal.
Charlie was a friend to all as “He never met a stranger.”
