COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The 93rd Branch County Fair wrapped up last Saturday and organizers have already announced the theme for the 2024 Fair.
With the 94th Fair scheduled for August 4 through 10 in 2024, the theme will be “May the 4th be with you in 24.”
Keith Bildner is wrapping up his second year as Fair Manager. He says it was felt this years fair was a success.
Bildner said he didn’t have the final numbers but the small and large animal auctions brought in over $400,000.
Fair organizers tried a lot of new things this year such as bands performing on a free stage.
For the first time ever, there was a beer garden for shows in the amphitheater. Bildner said there were no problems and they plan to have it again next year.
He added there were eight more food vendors than last year as those numbers start to recover after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bildner said the Fair Board will start comparing notes and making plans for next years fair in September.
