BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Because of M.H.S.A.A. heat and humidity protocols, Branch County high school contests were scrubbed for Wednesday and Thursday.
Union City’s season opening varsity home football game against Centreville originally scheduled for Thursday night has been postponed until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday night. Union City’s J.V. football game at Centreville that was scheduled for Wednesday night was postponed until 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning.
Junior Varsity football games with Coldwater at Sturgis and Bronson at Prairie Heights were canceled.
Coldwater’s rescheduled varsity boys tennis match against Brooklyn Columbia Central was canceled for Wednesday.
Bronson’s J.V. volleyball quad meet was canceled for Wednesday night with no makeup date scheduled yet. Coldwater’s J.V. team was scheduled to compete in the meet.
The Coldwater varsity boys soccer match against Chelsea that was scheduled for Thursday night has been canceled with no make up date announced. Bronson’s boys soccer match at Harper Creek for Wednesday night was also canceled.
