Marsha Renee Metheny, 60, of Coldwater, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at her home.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation, 1276 Tate Trail, Union City, MI 49094. A visitation will be held at Lighthouse from 1:00-3:00 PM on Saturday, September 9, 2023, just prior to the funeral.
Marsha was born September 20, 1962, in Angola, IN to Lynn and Velda (Inman) Munger. She attended Fremont School in Indiana and IPFW in Fort Wayne. On June 13, 1992, she married Eric Metheny in Bourbon, IN. He survives. Marsha had retired from being the President of Minneapolis Business College. She enjoyed being an admin for the “The Sage Quotes & Humor” Facebook group, cooking, family, gardening, and antique dolls and glassware.
In addition to her husband, Marsha is survived by her daughters, Stacey Sevits-Trausch of Fort Wayne, IN and Jacqueline Metheny of Holt, MI; sisters Cheryl and Reba; brother Fred; close nieces and nephews Carrie, Becky and Josh.
Marsha was preceded in death by her parents; son, Vince (2023); and brother, Clayton.
In lieu of flowers or donations, a card with a memory to be shared with the family is suggested.
