Carol A. Kosier, 74, of Coldwater, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Drews Place of Coldwater, surrounded by family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 15, 2023, at 10:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Coldwater with Rev. Fr. Dan Hyman officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 4-7:00 PM, with the Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM, at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. Visitation will also be held, prior to the service, on Friday beginning at 9:30 AM at St. Charles Church.
Carol was born June 23, 1949, in Battle Creek, MI to John & Josephine (Okeneske) Jasper. She married Wesley “Pork” Kosier on November 10, 1984, in Coldwater, MI. He preceded her in death on August 24, 2015.
Carol earned her RN certification from Kellogg Community College. She worked for 42 years at the Community Health Center of Branch County, retiring in 2012.
Mrs. Kosier was a member of St. Charles Church and enjoyed bowling on various leagues through the years. She enjoyed arts and crafts, needlepoint, knitting and crocheting. Carol and her husband were NASCAR and Sprint Car racing fans, attending many events together.
Carol is survived by her daughter Dawn (Sean) O’Connor of Coldwater, Lisa (Robert Dotson) Kosier of Quincy; her grandchildren Devin Nutt, Wesley (Brianna) Kosier-Chatfield; Cora O’Connor and her dear sister friend Debbie (Denny) Ambrose of Coldwater. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Bob Jasper.
Memorials may be directed to Animal Aid of Branch County or St. Charles Church.
