Charles “Charlie” Donald Garrison, 58, of Bronson, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023, at home.
Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Charles was born December 17, 1964, to Michael Garrison Sr. (Nancy Cleveland) of Lagrange, IN and Georgann (Miller) Smith (Augie Smith) of Middlebury, IN in Lagrange, IN.
He later went on to serve in the Army. After his time in the military, he pulled oversize loads for most of his career before driving truck for Taylor Trucking.
Growing up, Charlie had a racecar that led to a lifelong passion for racing. He enjoyed working on racecars, going to the Angola racetrack, building minibikes and go carts, playing his racing video games, and watching Dale Earnhardt race. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
Charles is survived by his children Charles (Courtney) Farrell of Deckerville, MI, Brandon (Austin Foster) Garrison of Howe, IN, Bradley Felder of Shipshewana, IN, Carleen Garrison of Butler, IN, Dominick Garrison of Shipshewana, IN, and Abbigale Garrison of Butler, IN; his nephew Justin Garrison; his siblings Michael (Michele) Garrison of Orland, IN and Melissa (Jamey) Smith of Howe, IN; his grandchildren Logan and Mia Farrell; many nieces and nephews; his step father Augie Smith; and Nancy Cleveland.
He was preceded in death by his sister Denise Garrison; his brother James Garrison; his nephew Jay Garrison and former wife Mary Garrison.
