UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – There are multiple winners for the Union City Citizen of the Year Award.
Dave Mathis along with Tom Hicks and Joe Lynch from Fortunate Farm will be honored on Saturday during the Union City Chamber of Commerce’s annual Farm to Fork event.
The Pot Luck in downtown Union City is back this year. Locally sourced meat will be provided during the free meal which will be served between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m..
Those who attend will be asked to bring a passing dish. Hot foods must be 140 degrees or above, cold foods have to be 40 degrees or below.
It’s first come, first served until all of the food is gone.
Farm to Fork will feature tractor pedal pulls for youngsters between the ages of three and 12, pumpkin painting, a corn pit and baby pigs.
DJ Swan will provide the entertainment between 12 noon and 6:00 p.m..
The Linda Waite Memorial Pie Auction will take place at 5:45 p.m. with all proceeds going to the Linda K. Waite Law Enforcement Scholarship fund.
Live Music by Erica Scherry will close out Farm to Fork from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m..
