DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist received his updated COVID-19 vaccine and flu shot Monday at a Detroit CVS pharmacy. With the extent of precautions that were taken at the start of the pandemic, we asked if any future restrictions could be considered in the future.
The CDC recommends an flu vaccination and updated COVID shot for just about everyone, starting as young as 6 months old. But this time, the government isn’t buying and distributing the shots for free, and supplied haven’t arrived on time, causing drugstores and doctors offices to sometimes cancel appointments.
