COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Legg Middle School girls volleyball teams lost all of their matches to Jackson Northwest on Tuesday night.
The 8th grade A team lost 24-26, 20-25. Adyson Qualls had 10 points, 5 aces, 4 kills, 2 assists, 2digs and one block. Alyise Dally 7 points, 2 aces, 3 assists and 3 kills. Gemma McVicker 5 points, one ace and 3 digs. Alexa Carreon 3 digs, Caydee Marske 3 points, Kelsey Price 5 digs and Madelyn McCullough 2 digs. Audi Bucklin 2 points, 2 kills, 2 digs and 2 blocks.
The 8th grade B team lost two out of three sets 25-23, 21-25, 11-15. Leading in serves were Claire Stroup going 12-13 with 3 aces, Lily Scheidler going 9-9 with 2 aces and Maria Aguirre going 6-10 with 3 aces. Leading with hits were Claire Stroup with 8 hits and 2 kills and Maria Aguirre with 6 hits and 1 kill.
The 7th grade A team lost to Jackson Northwest. At the service line Coldwater was lead by Addy Bucklin 11-12 with 2 aces, Hadley Schabloski 7-8 with 4 aces, Avrey Qualls 6-7 with 1 ace, McKenzie Miller 5-6 with 1 ace, Kirah Sloan 4-6 with 2 aces, Julia Trojanowski 3-3 and Ellitte VanWagner 2-3. Bucklin, Miller & Schabloski all had 5 digs. Bucklin lead Coldwater with 6 kills.
The 7th grade B team won the first game 25-20 before dropping the last two games 23-25 and 9-15. Leading the Lady Cards was Paula Mancera serving 15/15, 9 digs, Kaitlyn Carter serving 14/15, 4 aces, 4 digs, Cali Mock serving 10/11, 3aces, 8 digs, and Felicity Winright serving 8/9, 2 aces, 5 digs.
