HASTINGS, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater varsity girls swim and dive team finished their regular season with a 110-69 victory Thursday night at Hastings in an Interstate 8 meet.
With the win, Coldwater finished tied with Harper Creek as co-champs of the I-8.
This was the first year the I-8 Conference recognized swimming as an official sport and the Cardinals etched their name on top.
Charlotte Calhoun finished her high school career undefeated in dual meets for the last two years with a team record in diving of 251.15.
Carly Krzyzanski won the 200 and 500 Freestyle. Ayla McCowan won the 100 Butterfly and 100Breaststroke.
Sidney Aseltine won the 200 Individual Medley. Sienna Losinski won the 50 Freestyle and Olivia Boland won the 100 Freestyle.
Coldwater finished first in all three relays. The Cards travel to Portage next Friday and Saturday for their SMAC championship.
