Teresa D. Kenyon, 85, of Coldwater passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at LakeHouse Coldwater.
The funeral service will be Friday, November 17, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Julie Elmore from Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Battle Creek officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater and again on Friday, prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
The service will be webcast live at www.dutcherfh.com at 11:00 a.m. Friday.
Teresa was born June 29, 1938, in Decatur, IN to Duerl “Ted” and Mina Kathryn (Wynn) August. She married Niles L. Kenyon on June 29, 1958, in Pleasant Lake, IN.
Mrs. Kenyon was a dedicated homemaker and seamstress, operating Kenyon Draperies for 25 years. She also worked alongside her husband, in the family business Kenyon Doors and Openers.
Teresa was a member of the United Methodist Church in Coldwater. She bowled on several leagues and was actively involved in the Coldwater Sister City Program.
Teresa and her husband enjoyed traveling, spending many of the winter months in Bradenton, FL where they enjoyed playing shuffleboard with the Trailer Estates Club.
She adored her family and was very involved with her daughters and grandchildren in their many activities.
Teresa is survived by her husband Niles; her daughters Karla (Clarke) Foreman of Lutherville, MD, Sara (Brian) Sturgeon of Portage; her grandchildren Kathryn Foreman, Teresa Foreman and John Foreman all of Lutherville, MD, Madison Sturgeon and Ty Sturgeon both of Portage; many nieces and nephews including her sister’s children Lance (Kelly) Cook and Rhonda (Jeff) Tabacchi all of Indianapolis, IN and many brothers and sisters in-law especially Duane and Karen Kenyon of Coldwater.
She was preceded in death by her sister Kay Cook.
