BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater started their season with a trip to the Trojan Baker Bash at the Bronson Strike Zone on Sunday.
The girls won the championship for the third straight year as they defeated Coloma in the finals 269 to 241. They defeated Sturgis in the semifinals 325 to 281 to advance to the Championship round. Coldwater advanced to match play with a 12 game qualifying block total of 1,644.
The boys finished fifth after bowling in a very tough division. They had a 12 Baker game qualifying block for a total of 1697 pins but fell short of qualifying in the top four.
The Cardinal will next see action on Thursday at Midway Lanes as they play host to the Sturgis Trojans for a non conference meet.
