COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A local family has donated a new fountain which has been installed in front of the Dr. Browne Recreation Center at Heritage Park.
The fountain has been donated by the Groholski family in memory of Steve Groholski who passed away in July of 2022 just a month shy of his 60th birthday. He was the founder of AMTIG (All My Trust in God) Engineering.
Groholski was an avid noon basketball player who shot “noon hoops” for 30 years at the Coldwater Recreation Center.
The fountain resembles a basketball hoop and ball and it made out of granite. The granite ball will be floating on water and will spin continuously.
Groholski saw a similar fountain in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and wanted to donate one to his hometown of Coldwater.
The fountain was purchased through Top Stone in Sierra Vista, Arizona and was sculpted in China.
