Shirley Ann Alger, 89 of Bronson, MI passed away Sunday January 7, 2024 at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital.
Cremation has taken place and no services are being held at this time.
Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Shirley was born July 25, 1934, in Ft. Wayne, IN to Ford and Edna (Adams) Perry. She attended Michigan State University. Shirley worked as a switchboard operator for Bronson Specialties for 11 years. After that she worked for Publix Supermarkets in FL as a cashier. Shirley retired in 2004.
Shirley was a member of the Red Hat Society in Ft Myers, FL. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, doing crossword puzzles, going out with her friends in Florida and watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune in her free time.
Shirley was survived by her children Jeffery (Gwen Tomlinson) Mohney of Florida, Kim (Bob) Swift of Bronson, Craig (Tami) Mohney of Bronson and Gina Cossairt of Bronson and her 6 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Barbara Perry and Mary (Dick) Thompson.
