Michael Alan “Mike” Peet, 63 of Coldwater, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024 after battling pancreatic cancer that made his liver non-existent, but ultimately he died of heart failure in transit to Borgess Hospital.
Mike was born October 29, 1960 to Ora Peet Jr. and Norma Peet of Coldwater, and spent most of his life in Coldwater. Mike was a skilled welder and mechanic, and was also a member of the Blue Angels Motorcycle Club as well as the Moose Lodge. He loved playing pool and was part of many pool leagues throughout the area. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, gas powered RC cars, and motorcycles. Mike was the type of man to give you the shirt off his back, he was always there to help those he loved.
He is survived by his daughter; Brittany Ledbetter of Arkansas, his granddaughter; Noa Ledbetter of Arkansas, his siblings; Debra Thatcher of Oregon, Sherrie Berry of Florida, Theresa Granado of California, Julie Stevens of Oregon, and Mark May of Michigan.
He is preceded in death by his brother-in-law Clair “Buster” Berry and his parents Ora Peet Jr. and Norma Peet.
