COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Cardinals hit 11 three-point baskets including nine in the first half as they wrapped up Interstate 8 Conference play with a 56-28 victory over the Harper Creek Beavers at the Coach Floyd Eby Gymnasium.
Coldwater jumped out to a 21-7 lead after the first quarter and never looked back.
Elli Anderson was seven-for-11 from the floor and scored a game-high 18 points for the Cardinals.
Mya Porter had 13 points and Coley Burkhardt had 11 points, nine rebounds and six steals.
Elli Foley had eight points and eight assists.
The Cardinals finished second in the Interstate 8 with a 9-3 record, two games back of league champion Jackson Northwest. Coldwater is now 17-3 overall.
Harper Creek won the J.V. game 36-30.
