COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – When the Branch County Board of Commissioners meet with a pair of Michigan recruitment agencies during their work session on March 7, their presentations are only expected to last a few minutes.
Commission Chair Tim Stoll updated Commissioners during their Tuesday meeting.
The Commissioners are scheduled to meet virtually with representatives from the Michigan Municipal League and the Michigan Leadership Institute.
The firm selected will help Commissioners in their search for a new County Administrator after Bud Norman announced in January he would be retiring when his contract runs out at the end of the year.
Interviews with candidates are anticipated to start in June with Commissioners tentatively scheduled to conduct final interviews in August.
The hiring of a new administrator is scheduled to take place in October.
