TOKYO (Reuters) – The chairman of Japan’s Keidanren business lobby said on Monday there is greater momentum for wage hikes at this year’s spring labour talks compared to last year.
The likelihood of achieving inflation of around 2% is rising, and there is a high possibility the Bank of Japan will normalise monetary policy in the near future, Masakazu Tokura said.
