COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – One of the two Quincy teams won the rain-shortened Oriole Boys Golf Classic on Thursday at the Coldwater Golf Course.
The tournament was originally slated for 18 holes but was stopped after nine holes due to the soggy conditions.
Quincy Orange won over the 10 team field with a team score of 38 over par. White Pigeon was six shots back in second place followed by Kalamazoo Loy Norrix (+50), Mendon (+50) and Union City (+51).
Quincy Senior Keegan Neely was medalist for the first time in his career with a three over 38.
Braylon Estlow of Quiincy and Logan Mears of Union City both had rounds of eight over 43.
In the other Quincy Orange scores…Grant Carter +9 (T9), Caleb Bostic +18 and Belle Neely +23.
The Quincy Black team was led by Jax Sergent who carded a +12.
