BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Police Department will be showing off their new building during a Open House on June 14 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m..
The department moved in early March into the building at 120 West Chicago which used to house PNC Bank.
Refreshments will be served and there will be building tours during the Open House.
The department configuration is the same as the old building. The police department had been sharing space with the Bronson Fire Department.
Bronson Police Chief Stephen Johnson said in a post on the department’s Facebook page when the move was made, “We are very fortunate to have this opportunity to have much more room to do the work of serving the public. We hope the citizens will be happy with what we have done. I personally want to thank the Bronson DPW staff, Bronson Police Department staff, especially the Bronson City Council members and City Manger Brandon Mersman with the support they have given the police department to make this transition as smooth as it can be. We are very fortunate.”
