ALGANSEE TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Sheriff’s Department says a medical issue led to a crash on Monday morning on Fremont Road south of Central Road.
The crash was reported just before 10:00 a.m..
According to a Sheriff’s Department news release, 37-year-old Sarah Jane Mohney Kelley of Quincy was heading north on Fremont Road when the medical issue took place.
Her vehicle left the road to the east, struck a tree and rolled onto its side.
Kelley was transported to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by LifeCare Ambulance, the Quincy Fire Department and the Michigan State Police Motor Carrier Division.
The incident remains under investigation by Branch County Sheriff Deputies.
