COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Downtown Development Authority approved paying $260 for painting materials on Wednesday morning so that a mural can go on a downtown building.

Board member Matt Biolchini said the mural would be painted at 40 South Hanchett in an effort get public art going.
Main Street Director Audrey Tappenden hopes this will get the ball rolling for art in the downtown area.
The work is scheduled to start on July 6 and be done two weeks later.
