COPENHAGEN (Reuters) – Volvo Cars’ sales rose 8% in June from a year earlier to 71,514 cars, helped by strong performance in Europe and Latin America as well as for its new fully electric model EX30, it said on Thursday.
Sweden-based Volvo Cars, which is majority-owned by China’s Geely Holding, said in a statement sales of fully electric and plug-in hybrid models were up 41% to account for 48% of its car sales globally.
