COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater native and Hillsdale Academy graduate Rykert Frisnger has qualified for the U.S. Junior Amateur tournament to be played this week at Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
He is one of only three Michigan players to qualify for this National event.
Among the field notably is Charlie Woods who is the son of Tiger Woods.
The tournament will begin on Monday with the final rounds on Friday and Saturday being televised on Peacock and the Golf Channel.
Both the North and South courses will be utilized for the rounds of stroke play on Monday and Tuesday with each competitor playing one round on each course.
