BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater native and Hillsdale Academy graduate Rykert Frisinger did not make the cut at the U.S. Junior Amateur tournament being played this week at Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
He is one of only three Michigan players to qualify for this National event.
The cut line was at four over after two rounds on both the North and South courses at Oakland Hills.
Frisinger had rounds of 89 and 81.
Charlie Woods, who is the son of Tiger Woods, also did not make the cut after he had rounds of 82 and 80.
The tournament’s final rounds will be on Friday and Saturday.
